    Planned Activities
Formworkers will complete the formwork for the Level 2 deck.

Steel fixers will commence the bottom steel to the formwork deck.

Plumbers will start the stormwater line on the live road. A separate toolbox talk must be completed and signed by all workers prior to commencing these works.

Concretors will continue installing formwork to the amphitheatre.

Electricians are working on installing power to the woodwork equipment in the Stage 4 high-risk areas.

    Important Notes
All crews are to follow site-specific safe work procedures and supervision requirements.

The stormwater works on the live road are to remain controlled under the separate toolbox and sign-on process.

All personnel must be aware of adjacent work fronts and maintain clear communication throughout the day.

High-risk areas are to be managed in accordance with the site safety plan and access restrictions.

    Site Coordination
    Ensure:

Work areas are clearly separated where required.

Plant, materials, and pedestrian movements are managed safely.

Any changes to the sequence of works are communicated to all affected crews.

All workers sign on to the relevant pre-starts before starting.

Toolbox Talk: Working Safely on Site
Today’s focus is on working safely at heights, wearing the correct PPE, testing and tagging tools, keeping our work areas clean, and parking safely off site. These are simple controls, but they prevent injuries, damage, delays, and complaints. Working at height is a high-risk activity, and Safe Work Australia says risks must be eliminated or minimised so far as is reasonably practicable, with proper controls in place.

    1. Working at heights
Any work where there is a risk of falling must be planned and controlled before we start. Use the correct fall protection, follow the SWMS, and do not take shortcuts such as standing on unsafe surfaces or using equipment incorrectly. Keep platforms, ladders, access ways, and work areas clear so no one is exposed to a fall hazard.

    2. PPE
Wear the required PPE at all times: helmet, hi-vis, safety boots, gloves, eye protection, and any task-specific protection needed for the job. PPE is the last line of defence, so it must be worn correctly and kept in good condition. If your PPE is damaged, missing, or not suitable, report it before starting work.

    3. Test and tag tools
All electrical tools must be tested and tagged before use, and any damaged leads, plugs, or tools must be removed from service immediately. Never use untested or suspect equipment, and never bypass safety devices. If a tool looks unsafe, stop using it and report it straight away.

    4. Housekeeping
Everyone is responsible for cleaning up after themselves. Put tools away, remove waste, keep walkways clear, and do not leave materials or offcuts in access areas. Good housekeeping reduces slips, trips, falls, and lost time.

    5. Lunch room
The lunch room must be left clean and tidy after use. Put rubbish in the bins, wipe down tables, and leave the area ready for the next crew. A clean lunch room is part of site discipline and shows respect for everyone on site.

    6. Parking
There is no parking on site, so all vehicles must be parked on Cooks Road or in the approved off-site parking area. Do not block driveways, access points, neighbours’ property, or traffic routes. Good parking control helps keep the site safe, legal, and professional.

    Closing message
Safety is everyone’s responsibility. If you see a fall risk, unsafe tool, poor housekeeping, or a parking issue, stop and report it before it becomes an incident. Let’s work safely, keep the site tidy, and look after each other.
